What are your hopes/enthusiasms, expectations, fears, confusions, etc. about this class? Or about what you think of as "English class" based on your prior experiences? What questions do you have for Lance and/or Lexi?

My hopes for this class is to pass, it's my main goal. That's why my fear for this class is failing because English isn't my strongest or my most favorited subject, but I will do my best to keep up and ask questions when I need help. I am excited for this semester because I finally have classes with my friends and my classmates seem like pretty cool people, along with my teachers. I have no questions, but I will ask when I do.

Draft Zero

 In my opinion the most pressing issue that relates to shared/common resources is the issue I'm working on, which is the Hawaiian Fishery Management. The common things Kaiaulu and the Hawaiian Fishery/Fishpond Management share is the Connection to the Environment, Adaptive and Place-based Management, and Integration with the Ahupua'a System. The reason why I believe the people, including my classmates and friends showed know about the issue is because not only is this apart of our culture, it's also the way our Kupunas learned to survive. As a Native Hawaiian, I love learning about how our Kupunas/Ancestors lived and because of them we to live the way we do now. I believe every Native Hawaiian should learn about our culture and why it's so important. The reason why Fishponds are so important is because it's a solution to enhance the food security of local communities in Hawaii, they also provided Hawaiians with a regular supply of fish when ocean fishing wasn't ...

In my opinion I believe one of the most important issues is the Hawaiian Fishery Management. As a Native Hawaiian, I love learning about our Kupunas/Ancestors and the way they lived. I believe every local and especially Native Hawaiians should learn more about our culture and why it's so important. Also the reason why Fishponds are so important is because it's a solution to enhance the food security of local communities in Hawaii, they also provided Hawaiians with a regular supply of fish when ocean fishing wasn't possible.
